The successful candidate will be responsible for the following areas:
The successful candidate will have 7++ years’ experience and is likely to be a CFA.
He/she should be able to demonstrate an ability to research and analyse companies’ credit fundamentals as well as fixed income securities’ covenants and indentures. In addition, they should have a developed understanding of the drivers of credit risk premia and of relative value between bonds.
The individual should also have strong written and oral communication skills and be comfortable with presenting technical material. They will be detail oriented and computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Access) and advanced knowledge of Bloomberg.
The candidate will ideally be dynamic, highly motivated and conscientious and show an aptitude for taking initiative within a team environment. They will also demonstrate flexibility in carrying out a range of duties in support of the portfolio management team with a collegiate, collaborative and enthusiastic attitude and cope well with periods of increased portfolio activity and/or market volatility.
