This position is responsible for identifying and developing Institutional prospects. The position’s objective is to increase the Firm’s AUM by cultivating relationships with prospects, employing the Firm’s consultative approach to investment solutions and ultimately demonstrating why the Firm can add value to the prospect’s investment objective.   The Sales Executive will be working for a Firm with $435 billion in AUM that employs a time tested and proven investment philosophy and process that have produced outstanding performance results.    


  • Maintain ongoing knowledge of the Firms’ products, investment process, philosophy and performance, as well as keep current on investment strategies, market conditions and key occurrences in the global marketplace
  • Identify and develop Institutional prospects with the objective to increase the Firm’s AUM
  • Identify and assess the prospect’s investment objectives and determine appropriate investment solutions
  • Review and coordinate all prospect communications (presentations, RFPs, RFIs, questionnaires, ad hoc requests, etc.)
  • Coordinate and perform presentations to identified prospects
  • Significant travel expected to meet with identified prospects


  • Strong relationship management and presentation skills
  • Extensive Public Fund, Multi Employer and Consultant contacts a strong plus
  • Solid understanding of Public Fund plan structures desired
  • Minimum 5-7 years’ relevant Institutions sales experience with an investment firm with an emphasis on developing and converting prospects to client relationships
  • Strong work ethic, team player and positive attitude


Academic Qualifications (minimum requirements):

Undergraduate degree in Finance or related field a plus.  Masters Degree/CFA a plus.  Experience and/or CFA designation may offset academic requirements.
