We are looking for a talented Communication Specialist to create concise and compelling communications for the Technology team to inform and document new technology initiatives. Ability to collaborate and partner with different levels of leadership and project coordination and management skills are also essential to drive engagement and meeting tight deadlines. Preference will be given to those with a strong writing and visual design portfolio and relevant work experience.


  • Create and publish employee and executive messaging regarding technology transformations
  • Analyze and edit existing content and document strategy, best practices and lessons learned on various elements of an on-going change program
  • Promote various change initiatives and Town hall meeting agendas through communications and events for technology staff
  • Work collaboratively with the IT Leadership team to achieve IT communication goals
  • Contribute to and develop the IT communication strategy
  • Assist the program project manager, content experts, change champion lead and other contributors with specific initiatives to promote emerging technologies and to achieve planned milestones within the company
  • Develop an in depth knowledge of IT projects and initiatives to assure consistent delivery of messaging
  • Plan, organize and execute a variety of IT communication events, modes and venues


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required with a major in business, public relations or journalism/communications
  • 5 or more years of experience in journalism or corporate communications with a heavy volume of writing and content design, preferably for technology teams
  • Experience with blogs, social media and internal website publication is highly preferred
  • Design ability and experience (Photoshop and Illustrator preferred)
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, written, digital, multimedia and presentational communication skills, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively
  • Practical, hands on knowledge of Outlook, Excel  and SharePoint 2010
