  • Overview

    Individual will be responsible for working closely with the trading desk, client service team and custodian banks to ensure appropriate markets are open and available for investment.  He/she will have interaction and visibility with our major custodian relationships and be responsible for generating and maintaining the bank scorecards, as well as chasing down and resolving issues. He/she will be assigned multiple projects at any given time and will be expected to work independently under minor supervision and manage through completionAlong with these responsibilities and competencies, we are looking for an individual who possesses a positive attitude and understands the importance of taking initiative within a team environment.


    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for initiation, follow-up and completion of country account set ups as defined by the Trading Desk.
    • Communicate with internal departments and custodians to resolve complex issues and enhance workflow.
    • Ensure appropriate teams have proper and updated SSI information.
    • Review bank notifications and follow up on necessary communications.
    • Monitor new, changes and terminating account BPM tasks in relation to country account set up and maintenance.
    • Work with IT to continually automate and enhance existing processes through BPI.
    • Reconcile open markets and SSI’s with all custodian banks on an annual basis.
    • Generate and maintain the custodian scorecards, attending custodian onsite visits and regular conference calls.

    Qualifications

    • Ability to multi-task and absorb information quickly.
    • Excellent organizational skills and experience coordinating projects.
    • Proven analytical and problem solving abilities.
    • Works well in a team environment.
    • Possesses excellent communication skills.
    • Advanced Excel skills preferred.


     

    Academic Qualifications (minimum requirements):


    Undergraduate degree (or higher) in related field.

    Minimum 5 years of related financial industry experience.
