    Responsible for Quality Assurance with Business Analysis support

    This person will be embedded in the Investment Management Rapid Solutions Agile team which works directly with front office traders, portfolio managers, analysts, and management to design, develop, and deliver creative, robust, value-add reporting and interactive tool solutions for the Investment Management Team.   As part of the Agile team, this Quality Assurance & Business Analyst will be primarily responsible for Quality Assurance for many of the deliverables in our sprints.   He or she will be expected to analyze and understand business requirements, relevant data, databases, and systems in order to design and implement the optimal quality assurance to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality product to our users.  In addition, he or she will have the opportunity to conduct some business analysis where their knowledge and skills demonstrate sufficient competency.



    • Quickly analyze and understand business, systems, database, and data related to front office deliverables
    • Understand new requirements and produce and execute effective test strategies and test cases for sprint deliverables
    • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products from the team sprints
    • Collaborate effectively with team and users to ensure rapid delivery of high-quality solutions
    • Conduct effective business analysis as assigned in sprints
    • Efficiently manage multiple tasks and/or projects simultaneously and accurately track and escalate issues to supervisor
    • Provide effective documentation of requirements and analysis where appropriate and effective
    • Provide production support of released solutions
    • Communicate effectively in all matters related to responsibilities


    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • 4+ years of work experience in QA including understanding of different testing types, approaches, and best practices
    • 2+ years of work experience in the fixed income portfolio management domain including derivatives and credit
    • Very strong SQL skills with ability and motivation to self-learn database and data business meaning and relationships
    • Strong ability to understand requirements in an Agile process and produce effective test strategies, cases, and results
    • Ability to work in a highly demanding, fast-paced environment managing multiple projects simultaneously
    • Work experience and knowledge of test automation and scripting a plus
    • Highly self-motivated, creative, results-oriented, team-player, capable of independent creative critical problem solving

     Academic Qualifications (minimum requirements):

    • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
