The Client Service/Sales Executive - Liquidity will be responsible for coverage of a specific market region in the United States (e.g. West Coast). He/she will drive the business development effort, representing Western Asset’s short-term fixed income products and investment advisory services. This ideal individual will have a minimum of seven to ten years of experience as an institutional salesperson. He/she will have demonstrated a successful track record marketing and selling liquidity/fixed income products to financial institutions. The majority of the CSE’s time will be focused on new business development. This person will be more than comfortable cold calling prospects, as well as developing and potentially bringing his/her own existing client relationships/assets to Western Asset. This individual will also have access to investment teams, when necessary, therefore need to be able to speak to and understand the technical aspects of the firm’s investment strategies and offerings.
