    Western Asset’s product analysts lead strategic solutions that drive the progress and livelihood of the organization. The product analysts supporting Client Service & Marketing are out in the forefront of developing solutions for information delivery to clients, providing rich insights and driving value and satisfaction through innovation and differentiation. Analysts collaborate with various groups throughout the organization, working in Agile teams to deliver progressive solutions. 

    As the product analyst in Western Asset’s CS&M IT group, you will be the key technology liaison to business groups as well as stakeholders in operational and technology areas, analyzing complex business requirements, evaluating latest vendor solutions, and supporting the implementation of solutions for business partners. The role requires someone who is high-energy, driven, user-focused, detail-oriented, proactive, a team player and aware of the needs of each unique stakeholder group.  As a scrum team member, you will come up with innovative forward-thinking designs and ensure high-quality delivery of our products through our Agile development process.  We need our analysts to be versatile, creative, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new challenges as we push Western’s technology forward.


    What You’ll Do

    Play a leading role on a dynamic and interactive team, designing and delivering strategic solutions to clients and business partners.

    Provide functional and technical support and expertise during development, implementation, testing of complex projects.

    Partner effectively with business stakeholders, putting forward suggestions and recommendations for new features before the business has identified a need.

    Collaborate with team member and users, utilizing the Agile methodology with a test-driven development approach to ensure rapid delivery of high-quality solutions.


    What You’ll Bring

    Solid domain knowledge including workflow and flow information between systems.

    An understanding of fixed income markets, portfolio management strategies, derivative products and analytics.

    Mastery of presenting information that tells a meaningful and compelling story to our clients.

    Analysis experience, preferably in fixed income investment management domain.

    Strong MS Office skills, particularly MS Excel. 

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Experience and knowledge of SQL.

    Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.

    Energy, enthusiasm, motivation, and a results-oriented attitude.
