The Global Account Transition (GAT) Specialist will be responsible for coordinating, documenting, and managing the startup/setup, transition, and termination processes of accounts. This includes coordinating transition related duties: Client onboarding, set up of new accounts, changing and closing accounts. GAT specialists work with Client Service Executives, the Cash Control Group, Fund Administration, Portfolio Management, Portfolio & compliance SUIT, GSO and Client Billings. This position will also facilitate negotiations of investment contracts and guidelines and assist Portfolio Managers, SUIT and Client Services staff in developing contract terms and amendments. The specialist will support the onboarding process by identifying and recommending approaches to solve problems, improve the process, and automate workflows. This may involve gathering business requirements in order to suggest and implement solutions. These solutions may include building macros, coding, requesting system enhancements, and developing tools to assist the business. This position reports to the Global Account Transition (GAT) Supervisor.
