The successful candidate will have responsibility and oversight of a Portfolio Administration team. Portfolio Administration is responsible for maintaining accurate accounting data. This includes daily cash, positions, month end closing and reconciliation with the custodian banks.
The Portfolio Administration group currently comprises ~45 staff including 5 supervisors. The successful candidate will be supervising a team of 6-7 portfolio administrators while acting as key deputy to the Manager of Fund Administration who is currently raising staff competency within the fund accounting group. Open positions having been created by transition of staff to other Western Asset business groups and consistent growth in the business.
