  • Overview

    Individual will be responsible for supporting the oversight of the reconciliation outsourcing relationship including cash and asset reconciliation functions.  He/she will also be responsible for the successful enhancement of our reconciliation processes, adding efficiencies, implementing new processes and enhancing procedures.  In addition, they will be assigned multiple projects at any given time and will be expected to work independently under minor supervision and manage through completionAlong with these responsibilities and competencies, we are looking for an individual who possesses a positive attitude and understands the importance of taking initiative within a team environment.




    • Ensuring the reconciliation team is following processes and procedures as outlined.
    • Responsible for the verification and correction of principal and interest payments in the accounting system which includes email monitoring, exception log reviews and oversight of the corrections proposed by the reconciliation team.
    • Communicating with internal departments, custodians, and the reconciliation team to resolve complex breaks and enhance workflow.
    • Work with SMF Group to ensure factor updates are processed and Security Master Data is accurate.
    • Monitoring of account changes, new accounts and terminating account tasks in relation to the reconciliation process.
    • Work with IT and reconciliation team to continually automate and enhance existing processes.
    • Enhance reconciliation functions across the department by sourcing pertinent data, adding automation and implementing new workflow.
    • Other duties will include some or all of the following:

                    -Management Reporting

                    -Custodian Conference Calls


    • Understanding the features of different securities across various sectors of the fixed income market
    • Knowledge of reconciliation functions performed across Investment Support
    • Ability to multi-task and absorb information quickly
    • Excellent organizational skills and experience coordinating projects
    • Proven analytical and problem solving abilities
    • Works well in a team environment
    • Possesses excellent communication skills
    • Advanced Excel skills preferred



    Academic Qualifications (minimum requirements):


    Undergraduate degree (or higher) in related field

    Minimum 5 years of related financial industry experience.
