Western Asset has over US$430B in AUM and employs a time-tested and proven investment philosophy and process that have produced outstanding performance results. The Company desires to expand its existing client footprint in the UK and Continental European wealth management/retail marketplace.
The Sales Executive is responsible for Business Development efforts within the EMEA Client Service and Marketing team based in London. This candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders as well as Legg Mason’s sales teams in the UK, Switzerland, Germany, France, Italy, Benelux, Scandinavia and Spain, helping to promote Western Asset’s retail business development initiative. Ultimately, the candidate will grow the Company’s AUM (primarily but not exclusively in the WA subadvised Legg Mason Dublin UCITS and UK ICVC funds) by cultivating relationships with prospects, employing the Company’s consultative approach to investment solutions and ultimately demonstrating why the Company can add value to the prospect’s investment objectives.
This position works under the direction of the Head of EMEA Client Service & Marketing, who is located in London.
